Gates & Railings
Martyn Engineering provide a full design and fitting service for all of our wrought iron gates and railings. All of our wrought iron gates can be fully automated. Electric gates can add security and create a great finishing touch to your property.
We have a large selection of designs. You can choose from our wrought iron design portfolio (see our gate types in our gallery) or we can work with your own design and produce a wrought iron gate to your individual requirements and needs.
To prolong the life span of your gate, all wrought iron gates and railings are hot dipped galvanised and can be spray painted or powder coated to give you many maintenance free years.
Stairs
Martyn Engineering has been offering a full design and fitting services for all its stairs through out Mayo and Galway for many years.
Our centre spine stairs offer a sense of openness and luxury to any home. The main frame of the stairs maybe stainless steel or mild steel, with the steps available in Walnut, Ash, Teak or Red Deal.
The balustrades are available in wrought iron or stainless steel with glass infill panels and stair handrails are available in wood to match steps if necessary.

Stainless Steel
Martyn Engineering has been leading the way in Mayo and Galway with it professional design and service in the stainless steel industry. We offer a full Design and fitting service for all our stainless steel, glass balcony and stair railings.
All our external stainless steel rails are fabricated from 316 grade stainless steel, the glass infill panels are fitted with glass clamps or fixing holes. We only use toughened glass and may be laminated if required.
Our stainless steel rails can also be fabricated using stainless steel rope or stainless steel rods.
Site Installation
Martyn Engineering offers a full site installation service by our highly trained and safety conscious crew.
We can take your project from initial site meetings to detail measurements and advice, to in-house design and finish the project off by delivering and erecting your steelwork on site.
We also have a good working relationship with numerous engineers and architects in the West and beyond and can discuss practical solutions or work with their detailed specifications and drawings.
We offer this service for Structural Steel as well as all of our other products – from bespoke stairs right through to a simple railing. Regardless of the product we pride ourselves on a thorough installation giving the client exactly what they want.
When choosing a contractor to manufacture and erect structural steel you should ensure they have CE certification. Martyn Engineering are proud of the work we have put in, to achieve CE certification and our customers can be assured of the highest standards because of it.
External Structures
We have installed a number of bespoke external structures. Including bike shelters, smoking areas and external fire escapes.
All our external steel-work is fully galvanised and we use only the highest quality fixings and materials.
We have completed projects for NUIG and Aldi to name a few.
